Oh, hullo!
I’m an illustrator, based in South East England, with a passion for environmental issues. I’m currently studying for an MA Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. It’s mind-blowing. Lucky me!!
My work is a celebration of colour and form. When I was a child I found inspiration everywhere I looked, especially in nature, and ideas for books and characters would cascade out of my head. Thankfully, this is still the case today.
My artworking process consists of drawing, collaging, printmaking, general mess-making and finally, digital layering. (Never any AI). My main aim is to keep my work feeling hand-crafted, whilst giving a nod to my graphic and print design background.
When I’m not illustrating I spend my days creating journals, chasing my kids, sniffing books, walking in the woods, admiring 60s wallpaper, eating chocolate and laughing at my ridiculous cat.
